On January 11, 2022, City Council approved a Short-Term Rentals (STRs) registration ordinance for North Padre Island and Flour Bluff effective March 15, 2022. All owner/operators of Short-Term Rentals in these areas are required to register their STRs using the process below. The rest of the city will be required to register their STRs effective July 11, 2022.
