The Utility Billing Office is responsible for establishing and billing services for Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste, Gas, Storm Water and Street Maintenance Fees. Citizens can call our office to discuss their existing accounts and any questions they may have with their bills.
For Customer Service:

If a customer knows they are having problems paying their utility bill, they are encouraged to contact customer service for a payment plan or payment extension. If service is disconnected, the City of Corpus Christi may require a full payment of the past due balance and related service charges before reconnection.

Start or Transfer Services
In order to start or transfer services customers may need to provide the following:
Residential accounts:
- Lease agreement (if renting)
- A lease agreement must have a commencement date, service address and be signed and dated by the property owner/manager on record and tenant(s)
- New or existing property owners may be verified via Nueces County Appraisal District records, a warranty deed or a closing statement.
Commercial accounts:
- Lease agreement (if renting)
- A lease agreement must have a commencement date, service address and be signed and dated by the property owner/manager on record and tenant(s)
- W-9
- New or existing property owners may be verified via Nueces County Appraisal District records, a warranty deed or a closing statement.
- Letter of Authorization
- A letter on company letterhead signed by an officer of the company granting authorization to assigned employees for account access.
