New Service
For new service, to transfer or disconnect services, or for questions, please call the City's Customer Call Center at (361) 826-2489. You may also see self-service options on the Pay Your Utility Bill service page. 

Problems Paying a Bill
If a resident knows they are having problems paying their utility bill, they must seek assistance prior to utilities being disconnected. If disconnection occurs, the entire balance and any associated fees must be paid in full prior to re-connection. Citizens seeking assistance with a payment plan prior to disconnection should make an appointment with the Utility Billing Office to avoid disconnection.

Returned Checks
All returned checks will have a $30.00 fee added to the utility account. The statement will be considered unpaid and the normal disconnection process begins. Only cashier’s check or money order payments will be accepted by mail. Please mail payments for the amount of the returned check plus the $30.00 fee to:
