Corpus Christi is launching the U.S. Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance Program to provide emergency rental assistance to Corpus Christi residents who are at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On December 27, 2020 the President signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 which included Coronavirus Stimulus & Relief (Act). The Act includes the Treasury’s $25 billion ERA program. The Treasury has allocated $9,868,157.30 to the City of Corpus Christi for residential rental assistance.
