ATTENTION: The City of Corpus Christi Municipal Court is now open to the public for payments and customer service only. The temporary hours of operation are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The Municipal Court encourages all members of the public to resolve their case online, by email, mail or by phone without appearing in person.

Due to the building’s limited space, and to protect the health and safety of court staff and members of the public, if you are appearing in person you must:

  • Wear a facial cover,
  • Have your temperature taken,
  • Maintain social distancing,
  • Observe all COVID-19 signs,
     

Anyone having a temperature of 100°F or higher will be denied entry to the building and asked to resolve their case using other available methods.

Vulnerable Populations

If you are over age 65 or have a serious underlying health condition, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, or you have an immune system compromised by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy please contact the court by calling 361-826-2500 to discuss alternate accommodations to resolve your case.

Municipal Court Video-Conference Hearings:

Municipal Court hearings are open to the public. We are conducting all our hearings via Webex. Below is the information needed to view the hearings:

  • When: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:30 p.m., and Fridays at 10:00 a.m.
     
  • Where: In YouTube.
     
  • How: In YouTube, search for Corpus Christi Municipal Court and the current date (example 05.19.20).
     
    • NOTE: Some hearings will be scheduled at different dates and times from those noted and will be posted on this website individually.
       
    • NOTE: All recordings of any hearings are strictly prohibited.

Ordinance Remote Proceedings
If you are scheduled to a video conference hearing and your case is an animal or property ordinance violation, you MUST have access to a computer to join the Webex meeting. If you do not have access to a computer contact the Court at 361-826-2500 or MCMail@cctexas.com two weeks prior to your hearing or as soon as possible. In addition, you should contact Corpus Christi main Public Library to reserve access to a computer at 361-826-7055. You must reserve a computer. Using the Libraries automated phone system, press "7" to select a library location, press “1” for La Retama Central Library, after selecting library location press "4" to speak to a circulation staff member Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

WARRANTS

  • No NEW warrants will be issued at this time.
  • All EXISTING warrants will continue to be active. If you contact the court, we will lift your warrant(s).
     

PAY

The City of Corpus Christi Municipal Court is now open to the public for payments and customer service only. The temporary hours of operation are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The Municipal Court encourages all members of the public to resolve their case online, by email, mail or by phone without appearing in person. Visit our online payment system to pay your citation online without having to appear in court. You may also contact the court via telephone, email or regular mail.


JUVENILE COURT

All juvenile court hearings are cancelled until further notice. You will receive notice when to appear when cases are rescheduled.

All juvenile court users may contact the juvenile case manager’s office at (361) 826-4012 for more information on your juvenile case.
 

TRIALS & HEARINGS

  • All trials scheduled through June 30, 2020 are cancelled and will be reset.
  • You will receive your rescheduled notice in the mail.
  • NOTE: you may receive notice to appear through videoconference.
