Deferred Disposition & Defensive Driving Virtual Requests Only:

Starting Monday, July 3, Our Virtual WebEx Walk-In docket will be held every Wednesday from 1:30pm-5pm.

Instructions for Request:

You must have access to an email at the time of the request to sign for the documents.

To request deferred disposition or the Defensive Driving you must enter a plea of no contest or guilty.

You are not eligible to request deferred disposition if:

  • You had or have a Commercial Driver’s License at the time of the violation;
  • Your violation occurred in a construction zone with workers present.

To be eligible to take the defensive driving course you must at the time of the request:

  • Plead guilty or no contest;
  • Have a valid Texas driver’s license, or have a military identification card;
  • Present proof of current insurance;
  • Pay the administration costs of a maximum of $169.00;
  • You must not have taken the defensive driving course to have a ticket dismissed in the last year beginning from the date you completed your course to the date you received your violation;
  • Your violation cannot have occurred in a construction zone with workers present;
  • You cannot be a holder of a commercial driver’s license;
  • Your violation cannot be for a violation of speeding in excess of 25 mph or 95 mph or more;
  • Your violation cannot be for a violation of passing a school bus.
