Prepare for Stage 3 Drought Status. Learn more at stage3.cctexas.com

The right to keep and bear arms is a hallowed American tradition, regarded more highly in Texas than probably anywhere else. Yet, when guns fall into the wrong hands, the consequences can be tragic. The Corpus Christi Police Department urges gun owners to take gun safety lessons and practice gun safety at all times. Parents should keep guns secured in a safe location and use gunlocks to disable weapons when not in use.

For more information, or for free gunlocks, call the Crime Prevention Division at (361) 886-2765.  If you would like to schedule a presentation for your community or organization, click here.
