The J.C. Elliott Transfer Station is located just south of Saratoga. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that double-axle trailers entering after 4:30 p.m. will unload at the discretion of the Transfer Station Manager or Supervisors.

Residential customers disposing of the following items may use the disposal service free of charge during normal business hours by simply presenting a valid driver's license showing an address within the city limits of Corpus Christi:
- Household hazardous waste - Learn More »
- Household garbage
- Household refuse (This includes mattresses, clothes and furniture.)
- Large household appliances
- Household brush
- Non-commercial construction materials (This includes lumber, plywood, sheet-rock, roofing materials, waste from demolition, dirt and remodeling work. This does not include rock, concrete, brick, etc.)
All solid waste (residential or commercial) transported to the landfill must be secured and adequately covered with a tarp while being transported to the landfill. City Compliance Officers can issue a citation for loads that are not covered. A $15 fee may be charged at the landfill entrance for non-covered loads.
