January 2, 2024:
The contractor has successfully installed headers around the upper fountain ring to accommodate spray nozzles. Meanwhile, work on the wiring panels in the electrical room is ongoing, and the wiring will soon be pulled from the electrical room to the pump vault. In addition, the City Gas Department has already connected to the gas main to supply the generator, which is a crucial part of the fountain's operation. The contractor is now getting ready to backfill the upper ring of the fountain to prepare for the concrete sidewalk.

October 24, 2023:
The contractor is currently backfilling the deep excavation around the vault, prepping for the installation of the waterline piping manifold and discharge, and installing electrical wiring to support the new building and the lights around the fountain. They’re also prepping the electrical building to receive water proofing and insulation.

September 15, 2023:
The contractor has begun installing the electrical/chemical building walls, testing waterlines, and fabricating the lid to the underground vault.

August 16, 2023:
The contractor has finished pouring all 18 piers for the new chemical/electrical building. They’re currently installing the pipe saddles on the discharge pipe in the upper basin of the fountain. The existing vault has been pressure washed and will be painted this week. Their electrical sub has roughed in their conduits at the electrical yard.

July 19, 2023:
The Watergarden project is currently in the demolition phase of construction. They are currently working on the pipe installation and core drilling into the outer fountain.
