Sports

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department offers a wide variety of sports programs, classes, camps, leagues, and tournaments for youth and adults. Leagues are run at City ballparks and other facilities throughout the city. We operate two public gyms and three sports fields. They are available for event rentals, leagues, practice, and more.

YOUTH / TEENS PROGRAMS

Winter 2024 Youth Indoor Soccer League

Eligible: Boys & Girls ages 6 to 17 (as of January 1, 2024)
Online Registration: Now through December 16, 2023 (register here)
Late Online Registration: December 17–23, 2023 with late fee (register here)
Fees: $250/team
Late Fee: $275/team
Season: It is a six-game program played on Sundays from January 7–February 11, 2024, at Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street, and Corpus Christi Gym, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway.

Fall 2023 Micro-Soccer Indoor League

Games for this 5-game league will be played on Saturdays from November 18 to December 16, 2023
Fee: $50/player

Fall 2023 Back-2-Basics Youth Basketball Academy

Eligible: Boys and Girls (Co-Ed)
Grade Divisions: (3rd & 4th) (5th & 6th)
Site: Corpus Christi Gym, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway
This five-week program will be held on Saturdays from November 11 to December 16, 2023 (no games on November 25). 
The format is 45 minutes of skills followed by 45 minutes of scrimmaging (no games).
Schedule: 
•  9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for (3rd & 4th Division)
•  10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for (5th & 6th Division)
Fee: $60/player for 5 weeks or $12/player per session

Fall 2023 Adult Softball League (Four Divisions)

Fee: $350/team (teams only)
Season: Eight-game season runs from August 7 to August 28, 2023. 
Games: Double headers played on Mondays between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. at the Greenwood Softball Complex, 4501 Greenwood Dr.
