Environmental Bacterial Testing
Drinking water for regional public and private water systems and wells.
Corpus Christi City Water is tested by the City of Corpus Christi Water Department at the O.N. Stevens Water Plant Laboratory (361) 826-1200.
Marine water used for recreation submitted by the National Park Service. Health Department personnel collect and analyze samples as part of Texas Beach Watch program.
Seawater used to grow and nourish shellfish submitted by the Texas Department of Health Seafood Safety Division.
Sexually transmitted and other infectious diseases on specimens submitted by Corpus Christi, Nueces County and regional City/County Health Department clinics, as well as non-profit medical facilities in the Coastal Bend.
