The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department's Cultural Center is located in the midst of the Victorian style homes of Historic Heritage Park. It operates in the Galván House which was built in 1908. The national award-winning center hosts and supports many art and cultural activities, as well as a variety of community events.
HISTORIC & BEAUTIFUL
There are twelve historical Corpus Christi homes located in Heritage Park. Many of these are recorded Texas Historical Landmarks, the oldest one dating back to 1851. Each home is beautifully restored, with everyone paying tribute to the area’s ethnic and cultural diversity. If you are interested in learning more about the history of Corpus Christi, visiting Heritage Park is an excellent place to begin your history lesson.

Tuesday–Thursday, 9am–5pm; and Friday, 9am–2pm.
Visitors are welcome throughout the year.
RENTAL FACILITIES
The Cultural Center is available for meetings and private rentals. This scenic park is a favorite spot for weddings. Facilities that are available for rental include the Galván House, the Courtyard, Central Plaza and the Lytton Memorial Rose Garden.
