  • Emergency Plumbing Repair Program

Remodeling, Interior Remodeling, Renovations, and Demolitions

A complete submission includes:

  • Building Permit Application
     
  • Elevation Certificate if within a flood plain. (If you are unsure, please contact our office for the most recent FEMA information regarding your property)
     
  • Declared Occupancy Use and type of construction
     
  • Floor Plan (existing & proposed) - Digital Submission
     
  • Detail Scope of Work
     
  • Asbestos Survey Acknowledgment
     
  • All Commercial projects greater than or equal to $50,000 must be registered with TDLR and issued an EAB # in order to obtain building permits for accessibility compliance.
     
  • Plans may be required to be sealed and signed by a Design Professional depending on occupancy use, type of construction, and/or square footage.
     
  • Beachfront Construction Projects may be required to obtain a Beachfront Construction Certificate (BCC) or a Dune Protection Permit (Kleberg County only)

A complete submission includes:

  • Declared Occupancy Use and type of construction
     
  • Digital Submission
     
  • Architectural Plans

  • Structural Modification Plans
     
  • Mechanical Plan
     
  • Electrical Plan

  • Plumbing Plan
     
  • Energy Compliance Certificate (www.energycodes.gov)
     
  • Plans may be required to be sealed and signed by a Design Professional, depending on occupancy use, type of construction, and/or square footage.
