Corpus Christi Neighborhood Fitness Series
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District (CC-NCPHD), in partnership with the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, has expanded its popular Neighborhood Fitness series, with 10 events scheduled for the coming year. Each event includes free and accessible health and fitness activities, including a run/walk, Zumba, and yoga.

The City of Corpus Christi adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 4.69 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $16.87.
