The Bond 2012 and 2014 Morgan Avenue Projects will include reconstruction of the four-lane roadway with asphalt pavement, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, signage, and pavement markings. Utility improvements will include new underground storm water, wastewater, water, and gas lines.

The City of Corpus Christi adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 4.69 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $16.87.
