The South Texas Botanical Gardens will bring a macaw and other members of the parrot family to feed, chat, and interact with to learn more about our feathery friends.

Guinea Pigs Galore

Meet our Guinea Pig Rescuer and several animal friends. We will read stories, make crafts, and learn about adopting and fostering our fuzzy friends.

Movie Nights

Touch a Texas Tortoise

A red-footed tortoise and a three-toed box turtle will help teach us who to call and what to do when we see cold-stunned sea animals—brought to you by the Texas Sea Life Center.

Firefighter Visit at the Library
February 3rd @ 2:30 PM

Local heroes will read stories, talk about fire safety, and show off their rescue equipment for some Q&A and fab photo opportunities!

Leapin' Lizards

Parry a ball python and lounge with a large, languorous Tegu lizard as we learn these animals' special features to adapt to the cold—brought to you by the Texas Sea Life Center.
