Ordinance Chapter 24, Article III
The mission of the Corpus Christi Fair Housing (CCFH) is to conduct and enforce a positive program of non-discrimination within the City of Corpus Christi. CCFH assists City residents to ensure they receive equal housing opportunities. CCFH aims to significantly reduce incidents of housing discrimination through effective outreach and education concerning housing rights to landlords and tenants; and to provide investigation, conciliation and remediation services.

Fair Housing Essay Contest
Our Fair Housing unit is hosting a high school essay contest. The topic is "What does discrimination mean to you?" Students will explain what fair housing means to them. In addition, what/how would he/she pursue to affirmatively promote and protect Fair Housing discrimination because of race, including Asian American and Pacific Islander, black, indigenous, and other underserved communities of color.
The essay should be at least 1,000 words but should not exceed 1,500 words (word count does not apply to the list of sources). The word count must be included on the document you submit.
The deadline to submit the Essay is Wednesday May 31, 2023, 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Only the first 25 Essay submissions will be accepted.
