ATTENTION: The City of Corpus Christi Municipal Court is now open to the public for payments and customer service only. The temporary hours of operation are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The Municipal Court encourages all members of the public to resolve their case online, by email, mail or by phone without appearing in person.

Due to the building’s limited space, and to protect the health and safety of court staff and members of the public, if you are appearing in person you must:

  • Wear a facial cover,
  • Have your temperature taken,
  • Maintain social distancing,
  • Observe all COVID-19 signs,
     

Anyone having a temperature of 100°F or higher will be denied entry to the building and asked to resolve their case using other available methods.

Vulnerable Populations

If you are over age 65 or have a serious underlying health condition, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, or you have an immune system compromised by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy please contact the court by calling 361-826-2500 to discuss alternate accommodations to resolve your case.

Municipal Court Remote Hearings:

Municipal Court hearings are open to the public via YouTube. All in person dockets are currently cancelled through April 1, 2021. We are conducting all our hearings through WebEx. Below is the information needed to view the hearings.

Remote Proceedings

If you are scheduled for an administrative hearing (Dangerous Dog, Animal Cruelty, Property Hearings) or Bench Trial, then your hearing will be conducted by video conference, you and any witnesses that you would like to attend MUST use a computer to join the Webex meeting. If you or any of your witnesses
do not have access to a computer contact the Court at 361-826-2500 or MCMail@cctexas.com two weeks prior to your hearing or as soon as possible. You or your witness can reserve a computer at the Corpus Christi main Public Library OR at the Municipal Court. The computer must be reserved so you must call early. Call the library at 361-826-7055 to reserve access to a computer. Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

The City Detention Center continues to operate normally.
