(CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - January 27, 2023) The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will begin accepting applications from Wednesday, February 1, through Wednesday, February 15, 2023, for vendors to operate their business at its City beaches and parks. The permits for the seven-month vending period from March 2023 to September 2023 will be issued to qualifying vendors.

The City offers great locations on its beaches and parks to operate your business. There are two vendor locations at Cole Park, 10 at The Water’s Edge, and 10 at our Gulf Beaches. In addition, vendors may also request other park locations throughout the city.

Applications will be reviewed, and if necessary, a drawing will be held to determine vendor locations if multiple vendors select the same location. Vendors will be notified after the selection has been made to issue the permits for the locations prior to the beginning of the permit period. The selected vendors are required to undergo and pass background checks prior to issuing permits.

An Informational Session on “The Water’s Edge Summer Series” and the vendor drawing, if needed, will be held on Thursday, February 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on the 6th Floor Conference Room, located at 1201 Leopard Street. The new weekend summer programming offered at The Water’s Edge from Memorial Day (May 27) to Labor Day (September 2) will be discussed to review new business opportunities for vendors.
