The City of Corpus Christi Water Utilities Laboratory supports water quality operations for Corpus Christi Water. We offer services to external public water systems, municipalities, industrial facilities, consulting or engineering firms, and other commercial or public organizations wanting to monitor water quality and meet regulatory requirements.
The laboratory can also test water samples for the public. Sample bottles can be picked up Monday through Friday from the laboratory located at 13101 Leopard Street at the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant. Please call 361-826-1200 or email ccwlab@cctexas.com ahead of time to request sample bottles or to ask questions. Samples in non-approved containers or bottles will not be accepted. Payment via credit card is required at time of sample drop off.

The City of Corpus Christi Water Utilities Laboratory is National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) accredited and a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) approved laboratory.
We offer parameters to monitor water quality and meet regulatory requirements. We also participate in the annual Discharge Monitoring Report - Quality Assurance (DMR-QA) for all of our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit holders.
Additionally, the City of Corpus Christi Water Utilities Laboratory offers free total coliform sample processing for public water systems attempting to lift boil water notices.
