ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES All employees of the City hold Essential Services positions, and as part of the City's Emergency Response Team, provide services in the course and scope of their employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Corpus Christi's citizens. All City employees may be required to work immediately before, during, or immediately after an emergency or disaster as required, unless a waiver is requested and approved.
