SENIOR CITIZENS SAFETY
| ||
| There are nine Senior Centers in Corpus Christi. The Police Department has an officer who meets at each center at least once a month and talks to the seniors concerning Senior Safety, Crime Prevention and Scams. The officer also gives the above programs to any senior environment, which includes nursing homes, senior day care, senior housing, church groups, civic groups and any senior group requesting a program. The Police Department is also a part of the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). A senior aged 55 or older can become part of this program, which enables them to volunteer at the Police Department.
For more information, contact Crime Prevention at 361-886-2568 or if you would like to schedule a presentation for your community or organization, click here.
