NEWS FOR SENIORS
 
 
Senior service facilities and programs work to cultivate the best quality of life for persons age 50 plus. Programs are designed for active senior adults and those faced with the challenges of mature living. You may be eligible for federal and state assistance programs for seniors.
 
There are eight Senior Centers located throughout Corpus Christi offering a variety of programs and activities designed to meet the social, recreational, nutritional, educational and health needs of the elderly in our community. The Sister Study Breast Cancer Research 
 
If you could help your daughters, granddaughter, and nieces possibly avoid getting breast cancer, would you? As a mother, grandmother or aunt, we invite you to participate in groundbreaking research, so your family has a better chance of not developing breast cancer. Women, especially seniors, are invited to join the Sister Study or to help spread the word. For more information, go to www.sisterstudy.org.
