Construction
Storm water runoff from construction sites can have a significant adverse impact on local bodies of water such as creeks, streams and bays. Because of this, the TCEQ has specific requirements for construction storm water pollution prevention programs (SW3P). The tools on this page will assist you in developing your SW3P.
To find out if you need an SW3P, read the TCEQ Steps to Obtain a Permit brochure (also available in Spanish).
In addition to the tools provided by TCEQ, the City provides you the Guidance Document for Developmental Planning and Construction Activities. Also, the TCEQ has developed a number of tools to assist in developing your SW3P. To access these tools or for further information go to the TCEQ web site.
