Our pets and other animals rely on us to take care of them and provide them with needed veterinary services, food water, and shelter. If you witness animal neglect or cruelty, report it to CCACS.
If you suspect a dog is dangerous an investigation may be conducted to determine if the dog is a Dangerous Dog or a Vicious Dog.
Animal Care Services no longer handles requests to remove a dead animal. This is now performed through the Solid Waste Department. Our Customer Call Center receives these requests.
Making the decision to give up your pet can be a difficult one. We encourage you to exhaust all possible avenues of rehoming your pet before bringing a pet to Animal Care Services.
