The City of Corpus Christi received an allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for HUD’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) in the amount of $4,213,937 to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations, by providing housing, rental assistance, supportive services, and non-congregate shelter, to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability.

To conduct the required planning and needs assessment activities, the City of Corpus Christi must accept and appropriate the funding. After the required planning and needs assessment activities are complete, projects will be identified based on those needs. The City of Corpus Christi will then amend the HUD Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Consolidated Annual Action Plan to include the HOME-ARP allocation plan.
