2013 Glass Recycling Events

TIME:

All events will be held from 9am-3pm.

LOCATIONS:

February 9 - parking lot across from Del Mar College on Ayers Street

May 11 - Walmart on Saratoga

September 14 - Padre Isles Property Owners Association, 14015 Fortuna Bay Drive

December 14 - Wal-Mart at Calallen, 3829 US Highway 77

Only clean glass, separated by color will be accepted. 

This is a great opportunity to earn service hours. Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and protective clothing and eye wear.  Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to decrease trash amounts.   Certificates of community service or volunteer hours are given to all participants, courtesy of Mayor Martinez’s office.
