Services Provided
Environmental Testing on:
- Drinking water for regional public and private water systems and wells. Corpus Christi City Water is tested at the O.N. Stevens Water Plant Laboratory (361-661-1202).
- Marine water used for recreation submitted by the National Park Service.
- Seawater used to grow and nourish shellfish submitted by the Texas Department of Health Seafood Safety Division.
- Dairy products, soft freezes, served by area restaurants and submitted by the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Environmental Health Services Division (361-826-7273).
Testing for:
Sexually Transmitted and other infectious diseases, diabetes, and pregnancy, on specimen submitted by the Corpus Christi-Nueces County and other regional City / County Health Department clinics as well as non-profit medical facilities in the Coastal Bend.
