Residential and Commercial Projects - Requirements, Permits and Forms | PROJECTS NOT NEEDING PERMITS
Building-related ExemptionsFor a list of work exempt from permit, including building, electrical, gas, mechanical and plumbing, go the City's Building Code web page (link below) and scroll down to item (10). Note that exemptions from permit requirements of this code shall not be deemed to grant authorization for any work to be done in any manner in violation of the provisions of this code or any other laws or ordinances of this jurisdiction.
MIXED USED PROJECTMixed-use development is the practice of allowing more than one type of use in a building or set of buildings. In planning zone terms, this can mean some combination of residential, commercial, industrial, office, institutional, or other land uses.
Please contact a project manager at 361.826.3078 to ensure all of your project's development needs are addressed. We want to help your project succeed!
