Margie Rose has worked in local government for more than 20 years. She served as Purchasing Director, Director of Administrative Services, Director of Department of Public Services, Assistant City Manager and City manager for the City of Inkster, Michigan. She also served as Deputy Director of Parks for the County of Wayne, Michigan. Rose served on various professional committees including the Michigan Municipal League Finance and Taxation Committee, International City/County Management Planning Committee and the Michigan City Management Workplace Diversity Committee. Rose received her BBA (Accounting) degree in 1984 and her MPA in 1991, both from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a Credentialed City Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association.
