Wesley S. Pierson was appointed Assistant City Manager - Business Support Services in June 2012. Mr. Pierson has served as Assistant City Manager for the City of Allen, Texas; Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Allen, Texas; and Strategic Planning & Public Policy for International City/County Management Association in Washington, DC. Before entering the field of municipal management, Mr. Pierson also worked in the private sector for several years. Mr. Pierson’s educational background includes a BA from Brigham Young University in 2003, MPA from George Mason University in 2008, LEAD Certification from Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service in 2008 and Certificate in Public Finance from Texas Tech University in 2011.
