What is Campus Crime Stoppers ?

Campus Crime Stoppers works just like the adult Crime Stoppers. If you are a student and have information about a crime that is going to occur or is occurring at your school, you can call Crime Stoppers. The Crime Stoppers will take the information and pass it on to the Corpus Christi ISD Police, so they may take action. Each student that gives Crime Stoppers information that leads to an arrest is eligible for a cash reward. Since Crime Stoppers started in Campus' in Corpus Christi, we have made over 1217 arrests and have paid out over $73,000 in cash to students.

Is Campus Crime Stoppers Active in My School?

Every middle school and high school in Nueces County has a Campus Crime Stoppers Program.

How Can I Give a Tip?

If you have any information about a crime, call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line… 888-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-827-TIPS.  Your information will be taken in strictest confidence. Anonymity can be protected and you never have to give your name.  You will be given a code number. This should be kept to yourself in order to remain anonymous.

After several weeks, call the Crime Stoppers status line at 816-2360, giving your confidential tip code number and you will receive an update on the status of the investigation.

Tips that lead to the arrest of suspects, as well as the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $300.00, which are paid to tipsters on an anonymous basis.

Congratulations to our 2010-2011 Programs of the Year!
