The City of Corpus Christi is conducting an assessment of fair housing and invites residents and interested parties to participate in the process. The input received from surveys, stakeholder meetings, focus groups and community meeting will be compiled as part of a fair housing assessment. The study is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in order to receive federal housing and community development funding.

The online survey will be available from Friday, July 21, 2017 to August 18, 2017.

Paper surveys can be picked up at the Housing and Community Development Department, 1201 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, 78401 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Surveys can be mailed any any United States Post Office for free. Local agencies and non-profit groups wanting bulk surveys to distribute must contact the Housing and Community Development Department at least 48 hours in advance in order to allow for printing.

A series of community and stakeholder meetings will be scheduled. Additional information will be released as the dates and times are confirmed.
