Help Us Heart Your Park by Volunteering

Register for the November 3 event to celebrate Texas Arbor Day

We're partnering with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) to add to our Pollinator Playscape in celebration of National Public Lands Day. Help us install an extension to our pollinator garden and get your hands messy! Get out of the house and get to know some new people in the community by working with us to create habitat and finish this exciting project. For more information, contact Sara Jose. ► Sign up under ‘Special Events.’ Registered volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch.

Texas Nature Challenge
August 18–November 10, 2018

We invite families to compete in the Coastal Bend region’s 2018 Texas Nature Challenge where teams participate in a variety of activities at area nature centers, museums, parks, and other outdoor spaces. Families who complete at least two challenges, compile their experiences into a scrapbook, journal or blog and submit it are eligible to win prizes. This is a fun way for families to connect, play and explore nature together. ► Flyer for Texas Nature Challenge  ► Learn more about the challenge and sign up for it
