Annette Rodriguez, M.P.H., Health Director
Annette Rodriguez has served as Health Director for the Corpus Christi Nueces County Public Health District (CCNCPHD) since 2002. Rodriquez previously served as the Assistant Director of Public Health, as well as a Certified Infection Control Practitioner for Christus Spohn Healthcare Systems. Annette received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health.
Annette leads the CCNCPHD in its efforts to prevent disease, promote wellness and protect the public by creating initiatives such as a health vaccination clinic in a local mall to combat the H1N1 virus pandemic in Nueces County. She is currently serving as the secretary/treasurer for the Texas Association of City and County Health Organizations (TACCHO) and has been involved with the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and Mayor’s Fitness Committee. Her personal and professional interests center on family, health, corporate wellness initiatives and funding programs to fight the debilitating diseases of diabetes and obesity.
