Objectives:
The City of Corpus Christi has launched a storm water planning process aimed at setting consistent standards and replacing a patchwork of outdated drainage plans covering portions of the city.
The objective of this project is to create a comprehensive master plan that establishes policies, identifies priorities, and sets standards for drainage improvements and future development.
The first phase of the Storm Water Master Plan is policy development. Proposed policies have been developed, with review and input from the community, the Storm Water Management Advisory Committee, the Planning Commission, and an ad hoc Technical Advisory Group.
