Solid Waste Services is coordinating a large scale residential clean-up for the Flour Bluff area. The department will be providing services for the removal of heavy brush, debris, appliances, tires and other bulky items at three sites.
The sites are as follows:
Area 1: Holly Road and Oakview Street
Area 2: 300 Jester Street at the Wastewater Plant area
Area 3: 2900 block Laguna Shores (Wastewater Lift Station property)
Heavy brush and debris crews will be on site from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10, 2009.
One brush crew will be at each site to assist customers with unloading their items and debris. These proactive clean-ups will have long-term benefits in promoting cleanliness within the City.
