Yard Waste is defined as grass clippings, weeds, leaves, mulch, small trees & shrubs, limbs, and other similar items.

Tires, construction material, motor oil, and household hazardous waste will not be collected with Yard Waste.

Automated Collection
If you have received a City-issued cart, you are now on Automated Collection and you should place Yard Waste in your cart for pick-up on your regular twice-a-week garbage days. Please bag your grass clippings and place yard trimmings and place in the cart bagged. Non-bagged loose grass and leaves stick to the inside of the cart, causing odor and prevents the full contents from being dumped.

Leave grass clippings on the lawn - it's a great fertilizer, helps to reduce watering, and saves space in the City landfill! Take extra care to prevent allow the loose glass clippings from entering the gutters, storm drains, and street.
