Charges for tests available to individuals
-   Private Well drinking water: $15.00
    (as of Sept. 1,2006)
-   Fecal Coliform test: $16.00
    (for other surface water)
-   Chloride Ion (salt content) test: $18.00
-   Pregnancy test: $10.00
-   Diabetes Testing: $25.00

Services Provided
Environmental testing on:
Drinking water for regional public and private water systems and wells. Corpus Christi City Water is tested at the O.N. Stevens Water Plant Laboratory (361-661-1202).
Marine water used for recreation submitted by the Texas A&M Corpus Christi "Texas Beach Watch" program and the Rockport "Blue Wave" certification program.
-  Seawater used to grow and nourish shellfish submitted by the Texas Department of Health Seafood Safety Division.
Dairy products, soft freezes, served by area restaurants and submitted by the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Environmental Health Services Division (361-826-7273).

Clinical Testing for:
-Sexually Transmitted and other infectious diseases, diabetes, and pregnancy, on specimen submitted by the Corpus Christi-Nueces County and other regional City / County Health Department clinics as well as non-profit medical facilities in the Coastal Bend.
