Corpus Christi Skate Park   This is a popular attraction which serves the skateboarding members in our community and visitors alike! It is located in Cole Park next to the amphitheater. Grab your board, strap on your helmet and enjoy the park (wearing helmets is required). It is FREE and open to the public. For more information, call 361-826-3460. FACTS ABOUT THE PARK: This 10,000 square feet skate park of concrete construction opened on February 17, 2007. It was donated to the city by the Junior League of Corpus Christi. The League raised the funds and oversaw its design and construction. In addition to the skate park, this 43-acre park also features a large playground "Kids Place," a lighted fishing pier, and open and shaded picnic tables. It also has an outdoor amphitheater that hosts free concerts, films, and a variety of special events throughout the year.
