The application is for a registration for the City of Corpus Christi J. C. Elliott Transfer Station owned and operated by the City. The J. C. Elliott Landfill has limited capacity and the City intends to move its solid waste disposal operation to the Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill in 2006. The City intends to construct a transfer station that will be located within the permit boundaries of the landfill. The citizens collection center allows for the from off of waste from residences only, the transfer station would allow for the drop off of commercial wastes.
