SPECIAL OUTDOOR ADVENTURE EVENT

The Corpus Christi Paddle Prix & Rally will be held on October 23, 2010. It is the Mayor’s Fitness Council’s signature event designed to encourage everyone to stay fit while enjoying the vast natural resources the Coastal Bend has to offer. The finish line for this race along the Nueces River will be at Labonte Park where paddlers will be treated to good food and soulful tunes. Racers compete in a wide range of vessel classes from solo recreational kayak or canoe out for a day of fun on the river. Click here for details.

- Bay Trail
- The Corpus Christi Bay Trail is a scenic corridor with a hike and bike trail along Corpus Christi Bay, Oso Bay, Cayo Del Oso and Oso Creek. It stretches nearly nine miles, starting near the American Bank Center and going to the wetlands along Oso Bay.

- The Corpus Christi SkatePark is the highly anticipated attraction located in Cole Park on the shoreline of the Corpus Christi Bay near downtown. In addition to the skate park, Cole Park features a wide-range of amenities and activities, as well as many hosted special events.
