"Bay Jammin' Concert & Cinema Series" consists of concerts and films offered during Summer 2010 at Cole Park Amphitheater. Concerts are offered on Thursday evenings (June 3–August 12) and movies on Fridays after dark (June 4–August 13). Two SPECIAL Holiday Shows will also be offered this year (May 28 & September 4). Grab your lawn chair and join your friends for an outdoor experience set against our beautiful bayfront. FREE admission and open to everyone. Read more.
THE SERIES' SPECIAL FINALE PERFORMANCE DURING LABOR DAY WEEKEND: 'One Destiny' will be featured on Saturday, September 4, from 7:30pm – 9:30pm at Cole Park Amphitheater. The band’s genre is Traditional Old School Reggae, Trinidad and Tobago via San Antonio. Join us! |

The Corpus Christi Paddle Prix & Rally will be held on October 23, 2010. It is the Mayor’s Fitness Council’s signature event designed to encourage everyone to stay fit while enjoying the vast natural resources the Coastal Bend has to offer. The finish line for this race along the Nueces River will be at Labonte Park where paddlers will be treated to good food and soulful tunes. Racers compete in a wide range of vessel classes from solo recreational kayak or canoe out for a day of fun on the river. Click here for details. |

Latchkey After School Program (School Year 2010–2011) will run from August 2010–June 2011. Registration will be on-going throughout the school year, space permitting, so ask to see if there is space available at the site your child attends. ONLINE REGISTRATION is available. HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUES for Baseball & Basketball will be offered by the Athletics Program during Fall 2010. REGISTRATION FOR BOTH LEAGUES will be held August 16–September 3, 2010. Click here for more details.

Zumba Gold Class will be offered for adults and older active adults on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6pm–7pm at Oso Recreation Center. Zumba is a Latin inspired, dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements. Class starts September 8, 2010. Registration will be ongoing.
