VOLUNTEERING

Become a Volunteer!

The Volunteers are at the heart of the Museum.  Volunteers provide vital support to the Museum by giving programs or demonstrations, working with exhibits, or cataloguing objects in our collections.

Opportunities Include:
  •  Docents offering history/science programs to school groups
  •  Working behind-the-scenes to construct & install exhibits
  •  Working in the natural history or history collections
  •  Work in the Museum Gift Shop
  •   

    Museum Auxilary

    Volunteers are also given the opportunity to join the Museum Auxiliary, a non-profit organization that supports the Museum through their financial contributions.  The Museum Auxiliary is also responsible for the operation of the Museum Gift Shop.

    What Does it Take?

    These dedicated individuals devote several hours a week while others contribute a few hours a month. In order to become a distinguished member of the Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History Volunteer group you must be at least 18 years of age and willing to receive on the job training from Museum staff.
