| The Volunteers are at the heart of the Museum. Volunteers provide vital support to the Museum by giving programs or demonstrations, working with exhibits, or cataloguing objects in our collections. |

Docents offering history/science programs to school groups
Working behind-the-scenes to construct & install exhibits
Working in the natural history or history collections
Work in the Museum Gift Shop |
| Museum Auxilary |
|
Volunteers are also given the opportunity to join the Museum Auxiliary, a non-profit organization that supports the Museum through their financial contributions. The Museum Auxiliary is also responsible for the operation of the Museum Gift Shop. |

What Does it Take? |
|
These dedicated individuals devote several hours a week while others contribute a few hours a month. In order to become a distinguished member of the Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History Volunteer group you must be at least 18 years of age and willing to receive on the job training from Museum staff. |
